Ah, the joy of cooking together

The Monarch Beach cooking class worked as a well-formed team to create a feast though this was a coming-together of diverse people from all over the area: some were friends of hostess Robin but others had been in tours with me in Umbria – and this was our opportunity to re-unite, share memories of good times together in Italy. Some guests, too, were of Italian heritage, nostalgic for the flavors of the meals their grandmothers had cooked, eager for a culinary connection to their “roots.” I think everyone left their tables at the end of our feast feeling they were Italian – and already planning a trip! Robin, so grateful for hosting this event go graciously – even after an “unplanned event” at your home that morning! A cooking class to be remembered – by EACH of us!
